Montreal's Olympic Stadium. Seen in the distance some 5km away! It was Built in the mid 1970s as the main venue for the 1976 Summer Olympics. I found a similar photo online with no information. The image to me stood out so much I had to make it my own! I did a lot of searching as to the location and started to think maybe this image was fake? So once I found the location using google maps, I got super excited. After arriving in Montreal I realized that I might not be able to make it to this out of the way location. It was not until the very morning we departed for home that I got my chance to quickly find the spot and get a photo. Asking my wife to pull the van over I jumped out with my gear and dodged some cars to grab a few shots.
